LOVE IS IN THE AIR has already been a fortunate recent ART event in Bogota, Colombia. The people were invited to arrive wearing red clothes and also RED was the dominant color of the whole exhibition. Many young artists enjoyed the opportunity to share their unique artistical style in LOVE IS IN THE AIR. Young artists and more experienced artists. One of them, Pedro Ruiz is known in Las Americas (North and South America) for his strong painting nuances, an always modern tecnique which never regrets primordial and native aspects or concepts like innocence, nature, sensibility to the human conditions and relax.
The first time I saw an exhibition with his painting was in Bogota itself few years ago. I rememeber in that occasion so much green and a very strong message related to mother earth and the attention on the social condition of the desplazamiento en Colombia. Pedro’s paintings are vivid and imposing. His creativity is in continuous establishment and renovation. He often painted wonderful backgrounds with universal meanings during the main Pujas events with the spiritual leader Nirmala Devi Srivastava.
