Did you already watch August Rush? Here the little August is duelling on guitar with his dad and they both do not know but feel the real connection between them thru the music.

The plot is not really intelligent but it gets on the safe side again thanks to the music. The mother music. This nourishing subtle element which invisibly penetrates the lives of this kid, his mother (cellist) and his father (guitarist). 10 stars to Robin Williams in his rule of magician which will be hopefully encarnate as less as possible for the good sake of all the children on earth.

A glimpse into the lack of respect towards innocence and lack of protection towards the youngest generation in America. A country of great seekers of truth, of lost families and confused children. August does represent one of them, probably more a child from the Seventies who is forced by an adverse destiny to roam around the city in search of stability and true affection.

A glimpse on the concept of music in the west. And here it goes a wonderful piece of an interview about Divine music, from an eastern and western perspective.

A glimpse on the innate connections between mother and child. A mother always feels what’s happening to her son. Her love is infinite and all pervading. Thru her love she can be guided like a torch. The relationship between mother and child is the most sacred and important. Not only America but all other societies should realize how basic it is to foster, nourish and estabilish this kind of relationship.

A glimpse into how English children do grow up in today England. The main actor, Freddie, playing August is from England. He acted also in Finding Neverland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

overall score: 7 stars
